The department of Sciences for Nature and Environmental Resources (DipNET) is a new multidisciplinary department at the University of Sassari instituted with the specific purpose of bringing together scientists focusing on forestry, agricultural production, agrometeorology, ecophysiology, impacts of climate change, biodiversity and natural resources management, biogeochemistry, plant ecology, landscape ecology and zoology. DipNET hosts the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC), Impacts on Agriculture, Forests and Natural Ecosystems (IAFES) Division, so that researchers at DIpNET are often involved in projects lead by CMCC.
